Night 2 has ended.

The cool morning air did little to calm the villagers as they anxiously made their way to the town square. The tweeting birds taunted the villagers who passed by. Did they not know of the crisis situation now going on below their treetops? Such ignorance to their strife only angered the villagers more. But now was no time to vent at the birds. Roll call was beginning.

Only one name was called out before somebody in the crowd shouted,
"Look! The windows! They're broken!!"

The front windows of the town hall were indeed smashed open. Nearly everyone in the crowd could attest to the fact that they were fine the night previous at Orange's assassination, and so naturally the townspeople wondered what anyone, wolf or innocent, could want with the old building after hours.

The Mayor unlocked the front door and the entire mob inundated the small building. They were shocked to see the following scene:

It was no mystery that Snail The Normal Villager did not survive the night. But what might he have been doing at the Town Hall in the dangerous night?

Snail was found clutching this note. In addition, he was clutching the old photo of New Prosperity's founders that was prominently displayed in the town hall. However, he seemed to have dabbed out one of the faces of a figure in the midground with his own blood.

The mysterious note, newly bloodied image, and other items among Snail's possession were taken into custody of The Mayor. Clearly it was a psychological war the wolves were waging. The mayor would have none of this.

Facing the now terrified crowd, the mayor delivered a brief address:

"My fellow citizens;
It is now most clear that this village is pitted against a most heinous enemy. An enemy that seems to seek out our individual destruction, one by one at a time. However, in the face of terrible opposition, please note, my fellow citizens, that we will not waver. In the face of uncertain odds, we must and will remain confident. And, even, if in the face of certain doom, we will maintain order.

"A mandatory curfew is hereby enforced. Anyone who catches any civilian outside of their homes after sunset is fully entitled to, and expected to kill said trespasser. Such snooping is dangerous, misleading, and only allows the wolves to find easily killable targets. This policy is non-negotiable. In addition, the silver pistol is now permanently in my possession. Seeing the reach of these fiends only makes me nervous as to who might obtain this weapon. Should it fall into enemy hands, the effects obviously would be disastrous.

"And now, my dear citizens, a new day has hereby dawned. It is our irrefutable duty to find and hunt down those responsible for the death of this innocent man. This man knew something we did not, and we owe it to him to discover the secret he boldly died for. However, know this as well. Snooping is the sign of a traitor and will be dealt with as we deal with any other traitor; death. I will not have chaos. I will not have civil disobedience. This town is hereby under the fullest degree of martial law. With the sun now risen, we are racing against a clock until dark sets again. I advise you all get debating and decide on our next suspect. We will triumph in this most terrible crisis.

"May god be with you in these trying times."

Er, wow that was random. Interesting choice, wolves?

It actually sorta makes sense kill the person who accused nobody so nobody looks guilty. Not sure who I'm voting for yet have to see the evidence presented.
P.S. Is the silver pistol actually a thing?

My evidence against deviant and wquist are relatively similar. First of all, I've seen both of them on during the night cycles without posting anything. Second, deviant and wquist convenianty waited to post right before they were going to be auto-lynched. Furthermore, wquist and deviant coincidentally didn't vote for orange08, who I was pretty sure was a wolf at the time.

I think you could agree with me that their behavior is rather shady, to say the least.

Successfully bagging 2 wolves in 2 days would prove to be awesome for the villagers.


Also, it's interesting that of all people, the wolves choose snail. Looks like the beast has a personal vendetta or something.

I can testify with Jman, that indeed Deviant and Wquist were on during the night hours...without posting.

However, throughout the night cycle, I noticed numerous others that were online, for extended periods of time, and making only one or two new posts...Perhaps some merely logged in to read and note the updated events...

In the meantime, my suspicious rest on all those I saw in the night cycle...but no final vote for me yet until I can be sure...

Jman makes a good point that I think might go beyond guessing. My votes for deviant

Now, what is Jman doing during those night cycles, what if he's voting too?

But he has suspected a werewolf before, so he can be somewhat trustworthy...

Half of me wants to lynch him. The other half wants to trust him.

I'm doing a heads or tails, Head for Jman, Tails for Deviant..

And the result is Deviant. If he's an innocent villager, I think we all know who we should lynch...

1. I voted for him yesterday.

i noticed every time you logged on in night you logged on hidden truecrypt. any reason why?

When i signed up to play a few weeks back...i had my account by default set to log in as invisible...there's an option for it in the profile, which i neglected to turn off.

In all fair interest and honesty in this game, I will go away and deactivate it the minute I finish this post.

All good and noble villagers and dirty wolf spies.

I'm going to suggest an organizational plan of attack here against the werewolves.

Now, I'm sure everyone has thought of doing something like this before- but they always stop short because it would label them as target #1 for the wolves and the beast.

Well I think I have found a way around that- after all, my goal isn't to be alive at the end of the game, it's to have the villagers win.


We need a 'beast' type. Central P.O.C. for the Villagers. A leader. I am saying me because frankly, i'm the only person I can trust.

Here is what I am suggesting and then let me explain why and then we can either all agree or not and then just move along.

1. First and foremost, I am not calling the Banners to protect me- if they are doing their job right they should be protecting the scryers and themselves as our failsafe.

2. The main thing I am suggesting is that both scryers, assuming they are alive, get coordinated through the village leader through PMs- the leader, then having (at least a 75% knowledge of 2 targets) can make more informed suggestions to the masses, and we can quickly kill the wolves.

3. The next leader will be announced by me before I die because the scryers would have most suredly scryed some other normal villager by now. So no matter what happens, ONE of us will still be alive and the cycle can continue. While alive I pass on all knowledge who the scryers have pinned as a wolf or human to the other human on the list through PM.

This means we are always passing down knowledge and never losing it- the scryers will still be safe because it wont be revealed who they are except to the village leader- and as long as we kill 1 wolf every other day (given the chance we scry two humans now and again)- also the scryers will never "waste" scryes by hitting the same guy because the leader will tell them what's up.

There is the sure chance that a wolf will PM me saying he is a Scryer.. perhaps even the Devil or Beast will do this to try and strike a rouse.. That's fine, we just need to be smarter.


If you look at the numbers- we out numbered them at the start 4-1 .. but have since lost 3 and they have lost one- so we are still at about 4-1-

If we organize, and play smart, we can win- and damn fast too.. I full expect to die if not tonight then tomorrow night if we go with this plan. But of course.. it's the communities call.

If we agree, then I would ask the scryers to pass me all the info they have so far and I can just say "TARGET THAT GUY" and everyone vote for him.

This is a game of not trusting anyone.. and i'm asking you all to trust me.

Your move.

Or we can avoid the complications for today, at least, and vote for deviant today and possibly wquist tomorrow.

Edit: We can act this plan out after today, if we must, but I'm almost certain we should kill deviant today. As I said, 2 wolves in 2 days is a great success.

Sir, you are entitled to believe whatever you would like, but whats keeping you from voting for deviant? If she's a wolf you can trust me. If she's a villager you can lynch me.

Plus, what makes you think the scries are just going to tell you what they know? That could be very counter-productive if it gets into the wrong hands.

As to the Scryers- That's why I said leave it up to the community to decide- and if everyone thinks it's a bad idea, then great- it's a bad idea- my bad. I have no problem with that,

The reason I haven't voted yet is because frankly I have always found you suspicious, whether i'm right or not I have no idea. And since you are the #1 person accusing deviant I am hesitant until I see a response from her on the matter and what everyone else said. I don't like just throwing a vote out and then changing it 5 times, i'd prefer to make an informed decision and to do that I want to read what everyone says through the "day" - but I dont want to just sit on the sidelines, as you can see I try to still stay involved.

You'll notice this also applies to my judging of you though- I have not put a vote against you because I would prefer a more informed decision.

Notice that I was also the #1 person accusing orange. If you truly want to make an informed decision about the stance to take on me, wait until deviant dies, if she does, and see for yourself.

I've already belabored this, but I'll say it one last time: IF deviant dies and is a wolf THEN you can trust me. IF deviant dies and is a villager THEN you can lynch me.

Plus, if you have a better suggestion as to who to lynch, I'd be glad to hear it.

Does being an inactive player automatically make me a wolf?

Does being online during the night cycle, for reasons unannounced to any of us, make me a wolf?

This simply isn't enough solid evidence to go off of, and while i forsee a bandwagon coming, i say this, I hope to god they are indeed wolves, because if by at least luck, the villagers would have 2 more dead wolves, however the evidence doesn't leave enough to lean on, and frankly isn't really there at all.

to summize, i'm not defending either of them, i'm just saying the evidence isn't solid enough to be that definitive. In all probability i'll be joining the bandwagon if it gains enough traction, i just don't want everybody to be too rash and not think for themselves on this one. Day just began, we still have a while to decide.

Never spoke against anything you just said. I simply said I wanted to hear more and then i'd vote that's all. Never said you were wrong, never said you were right.

You could be a very crafty player, you could be a very lucky player- you could be a particularly ballsy devil or beast sacrificing a few wolves to get the village to intimately trust you so you can then wipe everyone out one by one. No way to tell yet.

And i've never accused you or backed you- simply stated suspicion and offered a suggestion as to how we as a group could work together instead of keeping this stovepipe knowledge b.s. we have- which you instantly shot down for no reason besides you suggest people trust you instead.

We can still vote deviant today and enact my policy if the community wants.

Benefit of my way: Organized and we kill them all fast
Risk of my way (if i'm pulling a fast one): 4 people (2 scriers and 2 innocent lambs) die over 2 day and 2 night cycles until you shun me out and kill me.

I think thats enough of you and I going back and forth though- i'd like to hear others thoughts, though I suspect I know what one person will say.
